Terms of Service

These terms are the deal between you and BeYou Sports when you use our website and app. They are written to be read, not skimmed past. Creating an account means you agree to them. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian agrees to them on your behalf when they give consent at signup.

Who can use BeYou Sports

• You must be at least 13.
• If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must consent when the account is created, and they stay attached to the account: they receive copies of messages coaches send you and can review or delete the account at any time.
• Coach accounts are for people who actually coach or recruit for a team or program. They are free.

Your account

Use your real name and real information. Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account, so tell us right away at levi@beyou-sports.com if you think someone else got into it.

What the service is

BeYou Sports gives athletes a recruiting profile that coaches can find, view, and respond to, with messaging between athletes and coaches inside the platform. During launch, every feature is free. Paid plans will come later at prices shown clearly before you ever pay, and you will keep what you built on the free plan. Features can change as the platform grows.

What the service is not: a promise. We give you the tools to get in front of coaches. We do not and cannot guarantee recruitment, offers, scholarships, or responses from any coach. Nobody honest can.

Your content

• Your stats, photos, film, and everything else you post stay yours.
• You give us permission to host and show that content to the platform's users, which is the entire point of a recruiting profile. That permission ends for a piece of content when you delete it, or entirely when you delete your account.
• Only upload what you have the right to upload. Your own photos, your own film, your own numbers.
• Stats you enter yourself are labeled self reported until they are verified. Entering fake stats is grounds for losing your account. Coaches trust the labels, and that trust is the product.

Conduct

For everyone: no harassment, no impersonation, no scraping the platform, no using it for anything other than recruiting. For coaches specifically:

• Messages to athletes are for recruiting. Remember that messages to athletes under 18 are copied to their parent or guardian.
• You are responsible for following your own governing body's recruiting rules, including NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, or state athletic association rules that apply to you. The platform does not track your contact windows for you.
• Athlete information you see here is for your recruiting evaluation. Do not export it, share it outside your program, or use it for anything else.

Verification labels

Stats carry trust labels: self reported, coach verified, or official. The labels describe where a number came from. They are our good faith review, not a warranty that any number is accurate. Coaches should treat them the way they treat any recruiting information: as a starting point for their own evaluation.

Ending an account

You can delete your account whenever you want, and a parent or guardian can delete a minor athlete's account whenever they want. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms, fake information, or put athletes at risk. If we close a paid account for a reason that is ours rather than yours, we refund the unused time.

The legal paragraph

The service is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, BeYou Sports is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred dollars if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits rights the law does not let us limit. These terms are governed by the laws of Florida, and disputes belong in the courts of Escambia County, Florida.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will update this page, note the new date at the top, and email account holders, including the parent on file for athletes under 18. Using the service after a change means you accept it.
